The Gathering of Nations is a self-funded non-profit
organization that receives NO federal funds and little
to NO corporate support. The majority of funding for the
event, our academic scholarships, and our Native
community aid is from annual ticket sales. Surplus funds
from the proceeds of the event, the Gathering of Nations
gives back directly to the Native community. (For

Ticket proceeds benefit: Head Staff and Invited Drums,
Renting the Arena, Dance & Drum Competition, Hiring
hundreds of staff & security, Tents & Multimedia rental,
Utilities & Facility expenses,
G.O.N. Academic Scholarship

 For the first time, in the all new and renovated UNM Arena "The Pit",
the Gathering of Nations has just opened up for sale limited seating in the
CLUB LEVEL BALCONY
of the Arena. This special seating allows every Club-level ticket holder to
be guaranteed a seat (NOT BOX SEATS).
The advantages of this level seating is the
guaranteed seat, special entrances to the building, and access to the PowWow Lounge. Tickets for this level are available
on-line and at the door, while supply last!

There will be marked signs for
the Will Call booth at the
UNM Arena "The Pit", location of booth is on
the East side of the
"The Pit". There will be a Will Call table at the Miss Indian World Program
ONLY on Thursday evening for evening time pick up.
• Please
have a valid photo ID ready, at the time of ticket pick
up.
• Please
have the purchaser's name at the time of ticket pick
up.
• FOR LATE Friday or SATURDAY or AFTER WILL
CALL HOURS: the Will Call booth

Why purchase
tickets and/or wrist bands in advance?
Online advance
ticket/wristband
purchasing is optional
and is offered as a convenience, credit/debit cards
(Online advanced
tickets or wrist bands
are the only way to pay
by credit card or by
mail with certified
funds), and little to
NO
waiting in line.
The line to purchase tickets or
wrist bands at
the door can be longer than some want to wait. If
the event is temporarily sold out or arena capacity has
been temporarily reached, those who purchase tickets or
wrist bands in
advance are guaranteed admittance.
Advance ticket
purchasers also receive
a special coupon code
for online merchandise
discounts.

The 2012 Gathering of
Nations will take place rain or shine,
this is an indoor event.
All event times and
Stage 49/PIT
performances are subject to change without notice.
Why is there an online
service fee for Advance
Tickets?
The cost of accepting, processing, and fulfilling online
orders is higher. To cover heavy administrative costs
and 3rd party fees associated with advance tickets or
wrist bands and
due to restrictions placed on us, a per ticket service
fee applies for online sales. A $1 per ticket and/or
wristband benefits the
G.O.N. Native American Academic Scholarship Foundation
at the University of New Mexico. Ticket prices also
include 50 cents per ticket UNM facility fee, online
credit card processing fees, and 3rd party
administrative fees.

CHILDREN AND SENIORS -
Are there discounts for Seniors or Children?
There are No
Discounts for
Seniors, Children or the
Military.
Only children 1 years old
and under are admitted FREE. All ticket sales are
monitored and regulated by UNM and other government
agencies due to capacity, fire and safety regulations.
We are monitored by the space utilized and not the age
of the attendee! These are restrictions imposed on us and we ask for your
understanding for our interest in your safety.

SHIPPING -
Why aren't
tickets or wrist bands sent in the mail
or shipped?
In the past tickets and
wristbands were fraudulently duplicated, or lost or
stolen in the mail. Your tickets or wrist bands or
wristbands will be safe and secure at the special Will
Call booth at the Gathering.
|
|

|
Re-Entry IS permitted
with a Two Day Pass
only! Wristbands must be
worn at all times for
Re-Entry. Dancers and

Why
Wristbands? This is your
2 day pass.
They give you In and Out
privileges throughout
the event, this includes
the GON PowWow, Indian
Traders Market, Stage 49
and the Food court.
Once the wrist band is
placed on your wrist,
the wristband must not
be altered in any way
(i.e. cut, stretched,
taped or duplicate in
any way); As this would
VOID your entry. |

Can I take a shower with Wristbands?
Wristbands are made out of a
waterproof vinyl so they
can get wet. Water will not damage your
wristband. |
|
|

What happens if I remove or Cut off the Wristbands?
Bands need
to be wore AT ALL TIMES at the 2012 Gathering of
Nations.
IF YOU REMOVE OR TAMPER WITH YOUR WRISTBAND, A
2 DAY PASS WILL
NEED TO BE PURCHASED IF AVAILABLE. |

What is the last day I can purchase advance

The last
day to order advance tickets or wrist bands on-line will be April
21,
2012 (Saturday).
A limited number of 2 day wristbands are available
on-line and will likely sell out early online. If you
would like 2 day wristbands, we encouraged you to finalize
your plans and purchase your advanced ticket(s) as soon
as possible!

Yes,
but you must provide the
'Tickets to be picked up
by' and proper ID
(Driver's License) is
required or a copy of
the online ticket
confirmation.

pick schedule and person prior to the event. |

Can I
order tickets or wrist bands for someone else?
Yes. During the checkout process online, enter that
person's name in the 'Tickets to be picked up by' field. The tickets or
wrist bands will
be in their name and will be ready for them at the Will
Call booth. Again please plan out your pick schedule and
person prior to the event. |

I ordered
tickets or wrist bands and I want to purchase additional
tickets or wrist bands, what do I do?

You may place as many orders for advanced tickets or
wrist bands
(subject to availability) before April 21st, 2012. Orders are
processed by the name indicated in the 'Tickets
to be picked up by' field
at checkout. Multiple orders with the same 'Tickets

field will be consolidated into one order.

Can I go to Powwow Alley, Stage 49,
and the Indian Trader's Market Tent?
Yes,
once inside, you may go anywhere
the Public is permitted
in the stadium, Powwow
Alley, Indian Trader's
Market tent, and Stage
49 are all included with
general admission. |

Can I get a refund? What are my options?
All ticket or wristband sales
are final! There are no refunds, but YOU MAY transfer
your ticket(s) or have someone pick the up under the
Purchaser's name with valid photo ID and or a copy of
